Cops in Training

We had lots of fun dressing up as police officers.

 

Oral Language

Addy shared about a tree that fell down when it was really windy on Friday.

Leela showed us her cool toy which you can make into cool things. 

This is Matteo's favourite book about dinosaurs.

Sienna shared about here holiday to the Gold Coast. She showed us some of the animals that she saw there. 

Ruby showed us her outstanding medals and badges from Athletics. Well done!

 

Cool! Rihanna had loads of fun at rock climbing with her family. 

 

Cara told us about her dog Bosco. He looks really cute. 

Alex bought this car in America. It is a convertible and has loads of amesome detail on it. 

Josh shared about his cute brown bear called Squishy who likes to play the drums. What a clever teddy. 

Matty showed us how to make a puffle out of icing. It was amazing and looks so awesome. Thanks Matty, you are a really good demonstrator. 

Lily brought in her jar of special pebbles. They were so pretty. 

This is Sacha's All Black's bear that can play the Haka. He looks like a really great rugby player. 

This is Claudia's kitty that she got last Christmas. The kitten is called Snowflake.

Michael shared his new shoes with us. They have cool designs on them and it has a zip on the side. 

Pawan really likes playing rugby and so he brought in his rugby ball to show is what cool tricks he can do. 

Stepping out

This week we have a special visit with Constable Gordon. He will teach us how to be safe on the road.

100 Day party

This week we had a 100 day party. We started a count down a hundred days ago and we learnt how to count along the way. Some people dressed up to show the different ways 100 can be shown. 

What was your favourite  part about the day's events?

Cross Country

Cross country practise had begun an we are getting better each day. We are very excited about the actual day. 

Maths week.

One of the challenges for Maths week was to estimate whether Mr Ayson would bounce a ball around a court faster or throw a ball in the air while running around the court. Way to go Mr Ayson!

Dog Talk

Today we had a special visit from Lincoln the dog and his handler. We learnt lots of ways to be safe around dogs. 

What did you learn about being safe around dogs? 

Making Inferences

Our group is learning about making inferences. We looked at the picture and said what we could see. Then we asked questions about what we saw. Finally we used the clues to make inferences about what we thought was happening in the picture.

It was fun using Popplet to record our ideas.
