Happy Holidays

Everyone must be so happy that the school holidays have finally arrived. What an exciting first term we have had Room 16. You have learnt so much and achieved a great deal of which you all should be very proud. I hope that you have a fantastic term break but don't forget to check into Mathletics and Reading Eggs when you get a chance.

Problem Solving

This Term we have learnt lots about solving prolems in Maths.

Pizza and things!

Our local pizza place has only 2 tables but they are quite big. If each table can hold 7 people, how many people can be seated altogether?

The chicken n chips shop has 2 identical tables. The chicken n chips can seat 16 people. How many people can sit around each table?

Swimming Sports

Today we had our annual swimming sports. We took part in a freestyle race, a backstroke race and a class caterpillar race. There was lots of cheering and excited spectators who came along for the afternoon. Everyone who took part had a great time.

Visiting Corban Estate

On Monday and Tuesday the Year two students went on a school trip to Corban Estate Art's Centre. It was a great experience learning how to use clay to create a piece of art. Here are some pictures of our time there.

Year Two Assembly

This is our first assembly for the year. We shared all the awesome things we have learnt about Globalisation. Some people were nervous about getting onto the stage to perform in front of hundreds of people but all our hard work paid off.
