Class discussions

This week we have been learning how to use "I agree" or "I disagree" statements during group discussions. It is important to give a reason to support what you think by using "because" so people know why you think that.

Lets start a discussion and try to use "I agree" or "I disagree" statements.

Should chickens be allowed to live in our classroom? Why do you think that?

  2. I disagree because they will scratch the mat. When Mr Janse says "what is 10 - 5?" then the chickens will say "cluck, cluck".

  6. I dissagree that we can have chickens in the classroom because
we might get roosters so we should'ent have chickens in the
    classroom.

  7. I disagree that chickens should live in our classroom because they would be clucking all of the time and they might distract people when they are working at their desk. I think that they should live somewhere outside.

  12. I agree and disigree with luke, chickens could be in the classroom to make us lern about them but then we could put them out side because they will be noisy inside.
